Jamel Brinkley

Jamel Brinkley is the author of the story collections Witness, forthcoming in August 2023 from Farrar, Straus and Giroux, and A Lucky Man, a finalist for the National Book Award in 2018. Raised in the Bronx and Brooklyn, he teaches at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
